Yes, with proper selection and installation. Engineered hardwood is especially well-suited for Florida's humidity because its multi-layer construction resists expansion and contraction. We also recommend proper acclimation and moisture barriers for optimal performance.

Signs your floors need refinishing include visible scratches and wear patterns, dull or faded finish, gray or discolored areas, water stains, and boards that feel rough to the touch. If your floors look tired but the wood itself is still solid, refinishing is usually the best option. Visit our Hardwood Refinishing page to learn about our process.
Refinishing typically takes 3–5 days including sanding, staining, and applying 2–3 coats of finish with drying time between coats. You'll need to stay off the floors for 24–48 hours after the final coat.
Absolutely! During refinishing, we sand down to bare wood and can apply any stain color you choose — from light natural tones to rich dark walnut or trendy gray washes. We'll show you samples on your actual floor before committing.
Our professional sanding equipment captures 95–99% of dust at the source. While no process is 100% dust-free, our system dramatically reduces airborne particles compared to traditional sanding, keeping your home much cleaner during the process.
LVP is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product that realistically mimics the look of hardwood, stone, or tile. It features a rigid or flexible core, a high-resolution photographic layer, and a protective wear layer. It's 100% waterproof, making it ideal for Florida homes. See our LVP Flooring page for product options and pricing.
Yes! LVP is 100% waterproof, which makes it perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and Florida homes where humidity and moisture are a concern. Unlike hardwood, LVP won't warp, swell, or buckle from water exposure.
LVP is extremely durable and often more scratch-resistant than hardwood. It's an excellent choice for homes with pets, kids, or high foot traffic. However, hardwood can be refinished multiple times over its lifetime, while LVP must be replaced when worn. Both are great options depending on your priorities.
We work with top-tier LVP manufacturers including COREtec, Shaw, Mohawk, and others. We'll help you choose the right product based on your budget, style preferences, and performance needs.
Epoxy flooring is a high-performance coating system applied over concrete. It creates a seamless, durable, and chemical-resistant surface. It's popular for garages, workshops, commercial spaces, showrooms, and even modern residential interiors. See our Epoxy & Commercial Flooring page for examples and pricing.
Professionally installed epoxy flooring can last 10–20+ years with proper care. It's extremely resistant to impacts, chemicals, stains, and heavy foot or vehicle traffic. We use commercial-grade epoxy systems for maximum longevity.
